Michael Backstrom directs energy and environmental policy at Southern California Edison, where he leads regulatory analysis, environmental agency advocacy, and electric transportation policy. Since joining SCE in 2005 as a regulatory attorney, he has helped shape key state and federal proceedings. He holds a BA in English from Pepperdine University and a JD from the University of Southern California.
