Kristol W. Simms leads clean energy strategy, energy efficiency, beneficial electrification, and economic development at Ameren Illinois. She has nearly two decades of experience advancing equitable, regulatory-aligned energy solutions and previously led the implementation of Illinois’ Climate and Equitable Jobs Act. A former attorney, Simms holds a JD from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an undergraduate degree from Lincoln University.
